Background & Biography
Daba School’s current website identifies Chris Ani as its founder and chief executive. The name abbreviates Digital Abundance Business Academy, the educational business through which he markets courses.
DABA’s account of Ani’s earlier working life begins outside technology. In a June 2021 article, the company describes his involvement in fish farming, poultry and crop cultivation under Big Brains for Agriculture. It also recalls him selling books at bus parks in Enugu. The account places these activities before Cryptohub and DABA, presenting an entrepreneurial path through physical goods and selling before online education. It identifies DABA Studios among his ventures, adding a media setting to the educational business. These details come from the company’s own retrospective.
At SiBAN’s Digital Assets Summit, according to CryptoTvplus’s September 2023 report, Ani traced his crypto education work to 2016. He described creating a Bitcoin ebook, distributing it free at seminars and then establishing an online Crypto Hub. He also recalled opening a physical blockchain hub in Lagos in 2018, which helped shape his plans for DABA.
Notable Contributions
Ani and Nolan Amadi are both listed as instructors for Daba’s Trade and Make Money course. Its advertised curriculum combines fundamental and technical analysis with trading psychology, indicators and price patterns. It also introduces centralized and decentralized crypto services and the use of Binance and TrustWallet. The offering also includes membership in the Cryptohub Signal Room. Its description promises trade ideas with entry, exit and stop-loss points. This places instruction and continuing market guidance within the same offering. Ani’s documented contribution is as a named co-instructor; the page does not assign every lesson or signal to him individually.
The separate System-Based Trading page gives Ani a different, specific responsibility: community manager. The program is advertised as a crypto-futures group organized around a 90-day period. Members receive trade setups and execution guidance, keep journals, submit screenshots of trades for review and discuss what worked or failed. Mentorship and recurring reviews are part of the format. The emphasis is on ongoing participation and feedback, rather than simply completing a recorded course. The page also distinguishes community management from mentor and analyst functions, so Ani’s role should be understood within that wider team structure.
Ani has also used interviews to introduce crypto subjects through people working in other industries. A DABA article published on December 8, 2021 records his interview with music producer Don Jazzy for Business Leader of the Week at DABA Studios. The conversation followed the guest’s changing attitude toward cryptocurrency and his collaboration with artist Osinachi, which combined a short piece of music with NFT artworks. It also explored possible connections between musicians, audiences and tokens. Ani’s contribution here was as interviewer: he brought an account of creative participation in the NFT market into DABA’s educational media. The guest’s projects and reported sales remain the guest’s work.
His SiBAN panel argument addressed how education might be funded across the industry. CryptoTvplus reported that Ani urged Nigerian crypto organizations to cooperate on education and research, development work and government engagement. He argued that companies focused on making transactions work could struggle to devote resources to education. The proposal therefore concerned shared capacity beyond any one course provider. The report documents his case for cooperation, rather than a jointly funded program subsequently established.
TechCabal’s report published in December 2022 supplies another example of his public advocacy. It names Ani as a participant in a TC Live discussion alongside Arindam Roy and Deborah Ojengbede. The particular view attributed to Ani was that greater awareness of cryptocurrency’s potential connection to a global, dollar-based economy could encourage adoption. The event was produced with Pillow Fund. That context matters when reading the discussion as a record of industry perspectives on adoption, rather than treating its framing as an independent finding about investment protection.
An example of Ani’s direct teaching is Day 26 of his 30 Days of Crypto & Web3 series. In the publicly displayed transcript, he discusses people entering the market without understanding what they are buying, trusting promotional excitement over research, falling for scams and switching repeatedly between strategies. He also considers the temptation to chase a sharp price rise and the role of learning communities. The lesson links those themes to his own educational offerings. It shows both the substance of his public instruction and the way free material introduces viewers to commercial programs.
Why Katharos.ai Follows Chris Ani
Ani’s account of Valo AI brings teaching and trading information into a messaging product. In a first-person video post discussing AI in 2026, he describes a crypto-trading assistant on WhatsApp that provides instruction and trade signals. He also says human experience, discipline and risk management remain relevant when using AI. These are his descriptions of the product, without independent testing of its accuracy. Katharos.ai’s interest is in how Valo explains its outputs and responsibilities to a learner who may also be acting on market information.
Daba’s current AI Money Club page names Ani as its instructor and identifies him as a founder of Valo AI and the Global School of Crypto & Web3. It advertises a 33-day program combining live sessions, recordings, tasks and projects, placing AI instruction alongside his crypto activity.
